In 1772, Han-cheol Jang, a virtuous scholar from Jeju Island, got on a boat to take a national exam, but drifted in strong wind. In 1962, Kwang-bo Kang, a laborer from the island, smuggled to Japan to survive, Omar who had left his home country, Morocco, without a guarantee anchored at Jeju Island after a long journey, but still drifts. This film is a record of the three castaways and a story of all castaways.
